Advanced Training Course in Construction Project Management (Online / Remote)

Summary

A construction project rarely collapses because of bad concrete or a missed measurement — it collapses because nobody managed the scope, the budget, the risk, or the people behind it. That is the gap this Construction Project Management Training Course is built to close.

Delivered by the Arab British Fellowship Training Academy, the course walks through the full body of project management knowledge and applies it directly to the built environment: contracts, procurement, tendering, and the legal side of construction, alongside the general management, finance, and property fundamentals that sit behind every project. International best practice is combined with practical, region-specific experience to give participants a reference they can use on real sites, not just in theory.

Objectives and target group

Who is this course for?

  • Construction project managers, site managers, and project planners.
  • Architects, quantity surveyors, and engineering staff moving into project management.
  • Team members and technical staff who support project delivery day to day.

What participants will be able to do afterwards:

  • Build a project team, set up its organisational structure, and clarify contractual and communication lines within it.
  • Lead, delegate, and motivate a project team while running effective meetings and understanding the basics of employment and labour law.
  • Define a project's scope through a proper statement of work, value engineering, and a milestone schedule.
  • Identify, analyse, and respond to project risk, and build a working quality management system.
  • Produce Gantt charts, critical-path networks, and cost estimates, and price a tender with confidence.
  • Understand what makes a contract valid, including the remedies available when one is breached.
  • Weigh up time, cost, and quality trade-offs to reach the most economical solution when constraints collide.
