Course in the relationship between staff and work (Online / Remote)
1Summary
Arab British Fellowship Training Academy offers this course on the relationship between staff and work, which examines how employee relations management defines staff duties and establishes a fair legal and human approach to handling workplace disputes, while also helping to keep staff performance within the organization on track. Although the human resources function has continued to evolve, the employee relations role often remains loosely defined, even though employee relations officers are expected to manage and report on key operational performance indicators, handle complaints, enforce policy, manage performance, oversee internal communication, and support social functions, among other responsibilities.
This course was designed to highlight the full range of activities within this role, equip management with the ability to make sound decisions on staff grievances, and give participants the knowledge needed to raise their awareness of and involvement in employee relations duties. It also covers labour market dynamics, conflict management, positive engagement, the latest labour legislation, grievances and dismissal, collective bargaining structures and processes, conciliation and arbitration, strikes, and negotiation skills.
