ZOLL Defibrillators, Monitors & Ventilators: Maintenance and Support Training Course
1Summary
In an emergency or intensive care unit, a ZOLL defibrillator, monitor, or ventilator is expected to work the instant it is needed, with no room for a slow diagnosis. This Training Course by the Arab British Fellowship Training Academy starts from that expectation and builds the technical skill set to meet it — taking each ZOLL device family through operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance in turn, then layering in calibration, performance testing, and the advanced diagnostics needed when a fault is not straightforward.
The course closes with the practical side of supporting ZOLL equipment in a hospital: connecting devices to hospital systems, using their data to improve patient care, and keeping them dependable in high-pressure clinical environments.
2Objectives and target group
- Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot ZOLL defibrillators, patient monitors, and respiratory equipment.
- Run performance testing and quality assurance checks that confirm devices are ready for clinical use.
- Diagnose complex software and hardware failures and know when to escalate to the manufacturer.
- Integrate ZOLL devices with hospital information systems and use their data to support patient care.
- Keep ZOLL equipment functioning reliably in emergency and intensive care environments.
Target Audience
- Biomedical engineers and medical device technicians working with ZOLL equipment.
- Healthcare technicians responsible for medical equipment in clinical settings.
- Hospital and clinic staff who maintain and operate ZOLL devices.
- Healthcare managers and supervisors overseeing medical equipment.
