Contracts That Protect You: A Practical Guide to Drafting, Negotiating and Managing Agreements

1Summary

A dispute that ends up in court rarely starts there. It usually starts much earlier, with a clause nobody read carefully, a deadline nobody tracked, or terms negotiated in a hurry just to close the deal. Contract management is what stands between an agreement and a liability: it makes sure contracting parties actually honour what they signed, and it helps avoid the disputes that can otherwise erupt well into a contract's execution.

Through this course, offered by the Arab British Fellowship Training Academy, participants build the legal and administrative foundations behind professional, effective contract management, covering every stage from drafting and negotiating terms to following up on implementation within the right legal frameworks. Participants will also learn how to avoid common drafting mistakes, negotiate contracts that protect mutual interests, and apply effective strategies for handling the amendments and disputes that can arise during execution.
