Training Course in Carbon Markets and Corporate Decarbonisation Finance
1Summary
Land that used to generate income only through farming or logging can now generate a second revenue stream simply by keeping carbon in the ground — but few local developers and policymakers know how to structure that revenue or where the carbon markets that pay for it actually sit.
This training course from the Arab British Fellowship Training Academy is built to close that gap. It aims to build the capacity of policy advocacy groups, eco-planners and local landscape project developers to mobilise carbon finance, while also introducing young professionals and students to the concept of carbon finance for nature-based solutions.
