E-Marketing and Digital Payments Essentials Training Course

1Summary

Behind every "Buy Now" button sits a payment system most shoppers never think about — credit cards, electronic money, smart cards, e-checks — and understanding how each one actually works is just as important as knowing how to market the product in the first place.

This course from the Arab British Fellowship Training Academy covers both sides of that equation. Full or partial e-commerce depends on ordering and payment happening electronically, with the seller sending payment confirmation through to the buyer's computer; how "electronic" a deal really is depends heavily on how digitised or encrypted the product or service is, and on the role played by the intermediary or authorised agent. Products can exist in physical form or purely as encrypted digital files — music, games and e-books being some of the clearest examples of goods built almost entirely for that kind of encryption.
