SWIFT for International Transfers: Messaging, Security and Compliance in Practice

1Summary

More than 11,000 institutions across over 200 countries rely on a single network to move money safely across borders every day — SWIFT. Understanding how that network actually works, not just what it is, is what separates a banking professional who can troubleshoot a stalled transfer from one who cannot, and that practical understanding is the focus of this course from the Arab British Fellowship Training Academy.

Designed for beginners and experienced professionals alike, the programme covers the messaging standards and security protocols at the heart of the SWIFT system, its role in cross-border payments, and the newer developments — such as SWIFT gpi and the shift toward ISO 20022 — that are reshaping how international transfers are processed today.
