Training Course in Banking Audit and Inspection Practices

1Summary

Every deposit a customer makes, every loan a bank issues, and every guarantee it accepts rests on one assumption: that someone, somewhere, is checking the paperwork behind it. Banks exist to make financial transactions easier and safer – taking deposits, extending credit against a guarantee or a guarantor, and managing the day-to-day movement of customers' money through a team of bankers and staff.

That trust is exactly what audit and inspection protect. Whenever a bank pays interest on deposits or lends money out for a return – a practice Islamic finance treats as forbidden – someone has to verify that every bond, every ledger entry and every annual inventory reflects reality. The Arab British Fellowship Training Academy built this course to train exactly that verification skill.
