Training Programme

Applied Programme in Risk Management and Safeguards within Social Insurance

1Summary

Every large institution, without exception, keeps a team whose only job is spotting trouble before it happens — measuring exposure, weighing options, and deciding whether to transfer a risk, avoid it, soften its impact, or simply accept the consequences. Social insurance bodies face this challenge on a bigger scale, since the wellbeing of entire communities rests on how well retirement and social insurance risk is managed. This programme puts participants inside that decision-making process, using practical standards institutions actually rely on to assess and act on risk.

Retirement Law and Social Insurance have become a pillar of stability in modern societies — a factor significant enough to shape political platforms across Europe, the United States and beyond, and to give insurance funds real weight in global financial markets. Building on that context, the programme also covers the legal terms and conditions that frame the social insurance system, so participants can manage both the operational and regulatory sides of risk with confidence.
