Training Course in Workplace Security for Offices, Files and Information Systems

1Summary

Office security isn't just about locking a filing cabinet at the end of the day – it covers everything from who can walk into a records room to which employee account can open a sensitive database. Treating offices, physical files and information systems as one connected security perimeter is what actually keeps an organisation's data safe.

Information security itself blends technical and legal dimensions: technically, it is the tools, means and procedures needed to protect information from internal and external risk; legally, it covers the procedures that prevent hacking attempts or the misuse of these systems to commit crimes such as cybercrime. Because it touches so many other specialisations, information security needs constant monitoring alongside them, not treatment as an isolated IT task.

This training course, delivered by the Arab British Fellowship Training Academy, is built for anyone who wants to gain solid, practical experience with information security management systems in order to protect records, documents and the offices that hold them.
