Protecting the Respiratory System: Daily Habits and Prevention

1Summary

Why do respiratory diseases keep climbing in today's cities? Part of the answer is pollution and smoke, which are especially concentrated in major urban centres, and part of it is how common these conditions have simply become: an estimated 300 million people worldwide live with asthma, a number that keeps rising, while pneumonia and lung cancer claim thousands of lives every year. In this course, provided by the Arab British Fellowship Training Academy, we cover how to protect the health of the respiratory system and prevent these chronic conditions before they take hold.
