Training Programme

Beginner's Training Course in 3D Animation Production

1Summary

Every animated character you see in a game trailer, film, or advert started out as a lifeless 3D model — no weight, no motion, no personality. Animation is the craft that turns that model into something an audience believes in.

This beginner's training course by Arab British Fellowship Training Academy takes participants from the core principles of movement and timing through to building, texturing, lighting, and rendering a complete 3D animated scene using industry-standard software and hardware. Rather than staying purely theoretical, the course builds toward a small hands-on animation project participants complete by the end of the programme.

2Objectives and target group

Who Should Attend?

  • Newcomers to animation, graphic design, or digital media fields.
  • Journalists and content creators interested in adding motion graphics to their work.
  • Employees looking to move into 3D animation or visual effects roles.
  • Anyone with no prior animation experience who wants a structured introduction.

Course Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Apply the core principles of animation, timing, and performance.
  • Build 3D characters and environments using particle systems and spatial simulation.
  • Prepare and animate a 3D character from concept through motion.
  • Set up lighting, cameras, and scene transitions for a finished animation.
  • Render a complete scene and add sound effects to a short animated project.
