Results-Based Monitoring & Evaluation: A Practical Training Course for Project Teams
1Summary
A project can be on schedule and still fail its stakeholders if nobody is tracking whether it is producing the right results. That is the gap this course closes: it equips participants with the practical and analytical skills needed to monitor and evaluate projects against clear, results-based criteria, at a time when accountability has become non-negotiable for funders and stakeholders alike.
The course walks through the entire monitoring and evaluation lifecycle – from building a results framework, through data collection and analysis, to acting on findings. Participants work through hands-on exercises, case studies, and a capstone project that lets them apply everything to a real or hypothetical project, finishing the course able to design a monitoring and evaluation plan that drives real improvement and holds a project accountable to its results.
