Talent Development Management: Practical Tools for Building Your People Pipeline

1Summary

Attracting talented people is only half the job — keeping them, developing them and preparing them for what comes next is where most organizations actually struggle. Talent acquisition, appointment and management is one of the most critical HR functions, requiring a set of strategies that help an organization meet both its current and future need for capable staff. This course from the Arab British Fellowship Training Academy gives participants practical, up-to-date tools for searching, selecting and developing talented people, and for designing a talent management system that fits their own organization.

The course also draws on recognized best practices in managerial performance, including a well-known Harvard analysis (January 2011) that identified three areas the world's best managers focus on: productive impact, building the networks needed to secure resources for performance, and improving team performance — skills participants apply directly to how they manage and grow talent.
