Scaling Up: Strategic Leadership for Large Construction and Infrastructure Programmes Training Course (Online / Remote)
1Summary
Managing a single building is one discipline. Leading a programme of interconnected building and infrastructure projects, each with its own contractors, risks, and stakeholders, is another discipline entirely. This training course develops the advanced capabilities construction leaders need to run large-scale programmes: strategic planning, resource coordination, cost and schedule control, quality management, procurement, and integrated project delivery, brought together under real leadership.
Participants learn to align construction activity with organisational objectives while juggling the technical, commercial, operational, and leadership demands that large projects create simultaneously. The course puts equal weight on the human side of delivery — leading multidisciplinary teams, coordinating stakeholders, and making decisions under pressure — and the systems side: governance, controls, and performance measurement.
Delivered by Arab British Fellowship Training Academy under the Construction and Civil Engineering Training specialization, the Scaling Up: Strategic Leadership for Large Construction and Infrastructure Programmes Training Course prepares participants to manage complex projects from strategic definition through execution and handover.
