- The role of warehouse management in achieving total quality.
- Quality of handling, storage, packaging and delivery work.
- Daily reports and ongoing control of warehouse and store operations.
Module 3: Suppliers, Purchasing and Inbound Verification
- Dealing with suppliers: organisation, contract planning, evaluation, selection and qualification.
- Import verification policy and improving purchasing processes.
Module 4: Inventory Counting, Classification and Certification
- Inventory counting and preparing stock according to goods type.
- Applying the ISO quality system within warehouse management.
- A practical case study: preparing a quality manual and its working procedures.
