Training Course in Legal Risk, Compliance and Institutional Legal Strategy (Online / Remote)

1Summary

A legal department that operates in isolation — disconnected from operations, reacting to problems instead of anticipating them — is a liability an organization only notices once a regulatory challenge or contractual dispute has already done damage. Building a legal function that actually protects the organization means treating it as an integrated system, not a standalone unit.

This program from the Arab British Fellowship Training Academy is built around that shift. It develops participants' capability to draft internal regulations, formulate effective legal policies, and manage relationships with regulatory and judicial authorities in ways that strengthen sound legal practice across the organization — while covering modern strategies for legal-risk management, assessing the legal impact of administrative and contractual decisions, and integrating legal affairs with other departments to support governance and regulatory compliance.

2Objectives and target group

Who Should Attend?

  • Directors and managers of legal affairs departments in public and private organizations.
  • Legal advisors, legal assistants, and in-house lawyers at companies and large enterprises.
  • Compliance officers and legal governance professionals.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Build an integrated understanding of an organization's legal structure, and construct institutional legal policies and regulations.
  • Manage legal and contractual risks effectively, and interact professionally with the legislative and regulatory environment.
  • Strengthen the integration between legal affairs and other departments to achieve organization-wide compliance.
