1Summary
Not every legal question that lands on someone's desk actually needs a full legal consultation — but the ones that do demand an advisor who can set personal opinion aside completely and study the matter from every angle before reaching a judgment. That impartiality is the whole point of this course: training legal professionals and consultants to give advice that holds up precisely because it wasn't shaped by which side asked for it.
The course also builds the scientific and legal grounding behind that judgment — the principles for drafting lawsuit statements, memos, and the full range of agreement types, from sales contracts to leases — with input from practising legal advisers and law professors. A legal memo, after all, carries the same weight as a piece of scientific research: its value comes from careful preparation and a genuinely methodical approach, free of the material errors that undermine a case before it's even heard.

- Negotiation, dispute resolution, persuasion, and negotiation skills
Module 4: Formal Documentation and Specifications
- Formulation of documents, memos, statements, and legal memoranda of various types
- Writing and analysing contract specifications and procurement processes
- The legal importance of specifications and their link to the "invitation to tender" process, including doubtful or deficient specifications
