Practical Skills for Effective Legal Advisory Work (Online / Remote)

1Summary

Behind every solid business decision there is usually a piece of sound legal advice that shaped it — and behind every advisor who gives that advice well, there is real training, not just a law degree. This course by Arab British Fellowship Training Academy focuses on turning legal knowledge into the practical skill of advising: how to read a case, form a defensible opinion, and put it into words a client can act on, alongside solid grounding in drafting and reviewing contracts under the law.

A legal consultation is not simply an opinion — it is a written position a lawyer or consultant produces at a client's request, whether to guide the client directly or to be presented to another party in a contract or agreement. It states a conclusion without necessarily laying out every justification behind it, and in many jurisdictions the advisor who issues it carries real responsibility: if a third party relies on a flawed consultation and is harmed by it, the advisor can be held accountable. That weight is exactly why the skill has to be trained, not assumed.
