TV Talk Show Hosting and Presentation Training Course (Online / Remote)

1Summary

Good dialogue is not just talking – it depends on mutual understanding, respect, and tolerance between the people involved, and on a very human ability: controlling emotion and behaviour rather than being run by it. Without that self-control, dialogue collapses into something closer to instinct than conversation. A TV talk show host is really a professional version of that skill, performed live, in front of an audience, with a producer's expectations and a broadcast clock all running at once.

This course by the Arab British Fellowship Training Academy is built for professionals who want to develop their skills in talk show presentation, media interviews, and broadcasting across TV programme formats. It works through self-control and vocal performance on air, the practical requirements of working confidently inside a TV studio, the preparation that has to happen before broadcast, and the proper stages of preparing broadcast topics – drawing on some of the strongest academic models, best practices, and curricula in TV presentation. It also covers the newscaster's role specifically: a newscaster who takes part in editing or preparing the news beforehand – sometimes called an editor-newscaster – carries real responsibility, and succeeding at it depends less on routine and more on genuine passion for learning and openness to new information.
