Oil Tankers and Storage Facilities Security Training Course (Online / Remote)
1Summary
Every tanker on the water and every storage facility on land represents a concentrated risk — one accident, leak or breach can carry consequences far beyond the site itself. Leading and managing the people responsible for that security is what this course is built to prepare you for.
Offered by the Arab British Fellowship Training Academy, it's aimed at anyone who wants to take on that responsibility within the security and safety departments overseeing oil tankers and the warehouses where oil is stored.
Work across the petroleum derivatives sector — extraction and everything connected to it — demands real precision. It calls for advanced skills in handling extraction operations and tanker work, addressing the problems and risks that come up, applying safe storage methods in oil warehouses, and managing both external threats (from the surrounding environment) and internal ones (from how people interact with the hazards these facilities can pose). None of that happens without genuinely skilled professionals.
