Beyond the Paycheck: Practical Methods for Motivating Employees (Online / Remote)
1Summary
Motivating employees is often treated as an HR responsibility — a survey to run, a bonus scheme to design. In reality, every manager owns a piece of it, and the companies that get it right are the ones where motivation becomes part of daily culture rather than an annual initiative. This Arab British Fellowship Training Academy course looks at what actually drives people to perform, and how leaders across a company — not just HR — can put that into practice.
HR's real role is to build the framework that governs motivation and make sure every manager understands how to apply it: through incentives, strong leadership, recognition of good work, and a positive overall work environment. The course moves from understanding leadership styles and emotional intelligence, through applying motivation theory on the ground, to building the communication and creativity skills that keep a team engaged over time.
