Training Course on International Corporate Governance and Trade Law (Online / Remote)

1Summary

Expanding into international markets exposes a company to two separate risks at once: getting its corporate governance wrong, and getting its export pricing wrong. Either one on its own can derail cross-border growth. This course, from the Arab British Fellowship Training Academy, is structured around both.

On the governance side, participants examine what company law actually requires — board composition and independence, general meeting procedures, shareholder rights, transparency obligations, and the routes through which employees can participate in management.

On the trade side, the course turns to the mechanics of pricing and exporting: setting a foreign market price, handling customs duties and other non-market costs, structuring discounts, and meeting the permits, licensing, and intellectual property requirements that come with cross-border sales.

Labour-related obligations — contracts, termination, healthcare, and disciplinary rules — are covered throughout, since they intersect with both governance and international operations.
