What happens the moment your organisation discovers a data breach, does your team know exactly what to do, or is it improvising? The Arab British Fellowship Training Academy built the Managing Data Risk, Privacy and Compliance course to answer that question before it becomes urgent.
The programme works backwards from real operational needs. Participants first look at how data governance frameworks translate into day-to-day policy, then move into the compliance landscape, GDPR, CCPA, and the wider set of laws that shape how information can be collected, used, and stored. Risk assessment and data classification are treated together, since one drives the other: you cannot manage what you have not properly classified.
Later sessions cover building compliance management systems, writing enforceable privacy policies, and, critically, running an incident response when something does go wrong. Attendees also work through international standards such as ISACA and ISO 8000 for data management.
This course is built for anyone who carries responsibility, formally or informally, for how their organisation handles sensitive data and stays on the right side of the law.
