A single earthquake, industrial accident or terrorist attack can undo years of development in a matter of hours — the difference between a community that bounces back and one that doesn't often comes down to how well it prepared before the event, not how it reacts during it.
This DMEP programme, delivered by the Arab British Fellowship Training Academy, is built around that idea: equipping participants with the knowledge, tools and skills to manage crises efficiently, whether the trigger is natural (earthquakes, floods) or human-made (industrial accidents, terrorist attacks).
Participants work through the full arc of preventive action and emergency response, gaining a practical understanding of the strategies and methodologies used across different categories of disaster.
