• Concept, objectives and types of marketing feasibility studies (desk research and field research).
• Forecasting product demand, defining the target market segment and the factors that shape demand.
• Concept, importance and stages of technical feasibility studies.
• Determining project size, production capacity, required investment, operating costs, production technology, location and equipment.

Module 3: Building the Economic Feasibility Study

• The concept, importance, characteristics and criteria of economic feasibility studies.
• Calculating cash inflows and outflows to determine surplus or deficit.
• Measuring the cost of financing across different funding sources using mathematical models.
• Determining total investment costs, required capital, project risks, market conditions and the competitive landscape.

Module 4: Evaluating Returns with COMFAR III and Practical Application

• Payback period, net present value, accounting rate of return, internal rate of return, modified internal rate of return, annual equivalent cost and the profitability index.
• A hands-on workshop applying a full feasibility study to a real project.
