Workplace Emergency Response and First Aid Training Course

Summary

The first few minutes after a workplace injury often decide the outcome, yet most facilities are not truly ready for that moment. Industrial machinery, transportation, agricultural mechanization, and the fast pace of daily life all create real exposure to injury, and despite proper safety measures, incident numbers in workplaces and everyday life remain significant.

Injuries also vary widely in nature and cause: they happen on factory floors and farms, inside schools and universities, while using cars, motorcycles, or bicycles, during sports, and throughout ordinary daily activity. This course prepares participants to act fast and correctly the moment an injury occurs, wherever it happens.

Objectives and target group

  • Apply urgent procedures for breathing disturbances, cardiac activity, controlling external bleeding, dressing wounds, and immobilizing injured parts.
  • Use correct techniques for lifting, transferring, and removing clothing from an injured person.
