• The risk-management standard, and an overview of AS/NZS 4360:2004.
• Communication and consultation, and establishing the context.

Module 3: Treating and Recording Risk

• Risk treatment, monitoring and review.
• Recording the risk-management process.
• Building effective risk management within the organisation, and how international standards are changing risk practice.

Module 4: Compliance, Diligence and Implementation

• Compliance and diligence responsibilities, including compliance-programme implementation.
• Risk-management philosophy, and related laws, principles and standards.
• Risk-management implementation strategy and plan.

Module 5: Applying Risk Assessment in Practice

• Methods of risk assessment, and precautions to avoid risk.
• The relationship between risk and institutional policies and procedures.
• Methods of certifying risk assessment, and dealing with corruption-related risk.
• Risk-assessment categories and field work.
