Every public purchase — from office supplies to major infrastructure works — runs on a contract, and getting that contract wrong can cost an organisation far more than the goods themselves. This course builds a practical foundation in general procurement: what a public procurement contract actually contains, who the bodies involved are, and how disputes get resolved when something goes wrong.
Delivered by the Arab British Fellowship Training Academy, the course also looks at the supplier side of the relationship — negotiating with vendors, requesting and analysing price quotes, and building a working database of suppliers and tenders — so participants leave with both the legal grounding and the practical relationship skills procurement work demands.
