Electricity customers do not distinguish between a plant that failed to commission properly and one that simply had bad luck - both look the same on the grid. This training course treats that reliability expectation as the starting point, working backward through everything that has to be verified, from supporting utilities to generation units, before a new or upgraded power plant can be trusted to deliver from day one.
Participants strengthen their understanding of the supporting utilities systems that keep a plant running, build practical competency in preparing generation units for stable output, and learn to coordinate commissioning activities across interconnected plant systems. The course closes with managing a safe, well-sequenced startup that sets the plant up for long-term performance rather than a shaky first few weeks.
