A concrete mix can pass every 28-day strength test and still fail years later, cracking, spalling, or letting reinforcement corrode, simply because durability was never designed in from the start. Concrete Technology is what closes that gap, and this training course builds the practical skills needed to design mixes that perform on the strength test and in the field, over the full service life of the structure.
Participants will work through concrete mix proportioning and material selection, learn how to select and dose admixtures for specific performance targets, and build a working understanding of how durability and compressive strength interact as design requirements rather than separate checkboxes. The emphasis throughout is on diagnosing real concrete performance problems and preventing them at the mix design stage.
