Training Course on Building Mental Health Awareness and Support in Communities (Online / Remote)

Summary

Every community carries an invisible burden: people struggling with anxiety, depression, or emotional distress who never get the support they need, simply because mental health is still treated as a taboo subject rather than a medical reality. Psychiatry and psychology keep advancing — new counselling centres, new treatment models, medication is no longer the only option — yet public understanding lags far behind, leaving many professionals and organisations unequipped to respond in a scientific, objective way. Left unaddressed, this gap risks wasting enormous human potential in the years ahead.

The Arab British Fellowship Training Academy built this course to close that gap, equipping participants with the tools and mindset needed to promote mental health at scale and to guide their communities toward the high standards of psychological wellbeing that sustainable growth requires.
