A single weak password is often all it takes to compromise an entire corporate network—yet many organisations still treat network security as a checkbox rather than a discipline. That gap is exactly what this course addresses.
Delivered by the Arab British Fellowship Training Academy, the programme is built entirely around real administrative practice inside IT-driven organisational environments, using curricula the Academy develops and updates itself.
At its core, network security is the set of policies and practices that prevent, detect and respond to unauthorized access, misuse, modification or denial of service against a network and the resources it exposes. Access itself is granted and revoked by network administrators, who assign the IDs, passwords and authentication data that determine what each user can reach.
This applies just as much to a small private company network as it does to the public networks used every day for business, government and personal transactions. Whatever the scale, the fundamentals stay the same: assign a unique identity to every resource, then protect it.
Because networks now carry so much of daily organisational life, keeping them stable and secure isn't optional—it's what allows information exchange to happen safely and reliably.
