Diplomacy in Practice: A Training Course in Foreign Policy Strategy and Negotiation (Online / Remote)

Summary

A treaty signed in the wrong tone, a message mistimed during a crisis, a negotiation handled without reading the room — in international relations, these are not small mistakes. Foreign policy and diplomacy sit at the centre of how nations deal with each other, and doing it well takes more than good intentions: it takes a real grasp of political, economic, and social realities worldwide, plus the negotiation and relationship-building skills to act on that understanding.

The Diplomacy in Practice course, offered by the Arab British Fellowship Training Academy, builds exactly those capabilities. Participants work through the tools needed to handle complex issues in global politics, develop foreign policy strategies that hold up in a fast-changing world, and apply the mechanisms and etiquette of international diplomacy that prepare them for influential diplomatic roles.
