Reliable Steel Structure Design depends on getting three things right together: how the structure behaves under load, how its members connect, and how those principles translate into real industrial applications. This training course builds well-rounded, practical competency across all three, giving structural and civil engineers the confidence to design steel structures that perform safely under demanding conditions.
Participants will strengthen their understanding of how steel structures carry and distribute load, and apply structured load analysis methods to determine member forces accurately. The course places particular emphasis on the design of connections, one of the most critical and failure-prone aspects of steel design, and builds practical skills in structural modelling to support accurate analysis and design decisions across industrial and heavy-duty applications.
